Where in the world?

As I played the game, where in the world is Carmen San Diego, I wondered if the hotels they used are one of those Cheap Hotels in Iceland or Cheap Hotels in Reykjavik. I have looked into the internet and saw that those hotels, even if they're considered as cheap, still looks good for me. What I mean is, if you are here in Davao and wants to book in cheap hotels and inns, you surely will get all the "cheap" stuff that will make you wish you'll become richer in the following months for you to afford the good places to stay in. (But on the other hand, Ponce Suites is another cheap hotel, but it's better than Emerald Inn, I guess. I'm just thinking aloud.) When I searched in the internet on Cheap Hotels in Denmark and Cheap Hotels in Copenhagen this is what I saw.

One of the hotels in Copenhagen. This doesn't appear cheap to me...but they say it's cheap and they have a fabulous hotel accommodation.

The rooms.....


This looks like one of Marco Polo Hotel Davao rooms. But it is a room in one of the hotels in Copenhagen. Cool, isn't it?



The website of this hotel says this room is the cheapest among their rooms. With the looks of it, I am not really sure if they know the meaning of "cheap".

I wish I can go to these places when I have the ability to do so.

Kung Fu Kids

I have watched the ABS-CBN's Kung Fu Kids last night. It was really fantastic! In the first episode, their Kung Fu master was telling the kids some guidelines using the mandarin language. It was really cool. I'm not sure if the person's really Chinese, but maybe he is. Sid, too, spoke mandarin quite fluently. It wasn't corny at all. I think the teachers are going to train those kids in Close Combat Training. I guess the show's going to impart The Truth About Martial Arts and Self Defense and why must we learn about it. Too bad we were called to have dinner, so I have missed a few parts of the show. I didn't quite understand why Sid turned into a taong grasa and "bespren of Super Inggo" became wowie de guzman's son. hhhmm.. I will just watch more of it tonight so that I may understand. Probably, Sid is the World Leader in Self Defense there because Captain Chris' Close Combat is mostly shown in the effects. Talking about the effects, compared to GMA 7's effects used in Zaido, Kamandag and the other corny tv shows, ABS-CBN's special effects really are special. I mean, it's like you are watching a hollywood film that the effects are not half-done--that the special effects is a result of intelligence and hard work. With Kung Fu Kids, Lobo, and Palos, you can tell who's really No. 1.

baby stuff

I would just like to post Baby tips here in kaikee.motime.com since I have quite number of friends who had just delivered babies last December 2007 and January this year. Shopwiki is the best place for you guys!

Basic buying tips for infants:

• It's better not to buy a closet-full of baby stuffs because babies double their size in just a span of weeks!
• If you insist in buying baby clothes, make sure it's slightly larger so that it'll have more room for growth.
• Clothes and toys are supposed to be colorful so as to stimulate your baby's sight.
• Buy clothes that are cotton.
• Mixing and matching clothes is okay, but it is better if you buy two-piece items so that it won't give you a hard time when you're on-the-go.
• Don't forget to buy a bib.
• NB means Newborn.

Cebu or CDO?

I'm thinking about going to fly to Cebu with my friend Mena next week...but I am not sure if my mom will allow me to.. I hope she does.. but I think I am old and capable enough to go on my own *rebel mode* The surest way for me to get to Cebu is I won't ask my mom for permission anymore...I would just go and when I get there, I will just tell my mom in my whereabouts...  but I think it's a bad idea.. Oh boy.. So CDO..What's up with CDO? Ate Chang, a friend from CDO emailed me (and everybody else) today with regards to the schedule of the SEP staff training with Kuya Rex in Feb. 7-10 at CDO.. .. I want to attend the training because I want to serve the mindanao-wide camp this year. Really, there's nothing more fulfilling than serving the youth at SEP camp. So, if I am going to let my mom choose for me, I am helluva sure she won't let me go to Cebu but to CDO instead. hhhmm.. For now, I am just going to pray about it.. Que sera, sera..

If I have no short of funds, I'd probably not go to Cebu or CDO.. most probably I will be on my way to Europe and enjoy my money there. How about if I stay in one of those Italy Hotels? I have looked in some of the google images and found out that there really are good places in Europe!

With those colors, can you believe it's actually the inside in one of the suites of Milan hotels? The feel's just too Japanese for me--red, black, with those artworks on both sides of the bed looks really Jap.



This is one of the Rome hotels which you can find in the other side of the world. Who says Rome is not as exciting as Hongkong? If you have a huge budget, Italy's the best place for you to shop! If I remember it right, it's the world's fashion capital! hhhmm..now hear you saying.."PRADA" "CHANEL" "ARMANI".. lol...... I'd like to meet Sopie Kinsella, the ever-praised author for making Shopaholic Series, who lives in Italy too... I'm not really sure, but I think she lives there. =)

So Cebu or CDO? I'll let you know soon..

Urban Zone

Urban Zone hosted by Daphne Oseña-Paez is one of the best late night tv shows in ABS-CBN! Tonight, they have featured townhouses built by Globe Asiatique which are Mexican community inspired! Really, if you're like me who's fond of watching Mexican TV shows and movies like (Fools Rush In: Starred by Salma Hayek and Matthew Perry), you will really see that those houses are truly with a Mexican feel. If you have seen some Barcelona Hotels or Barcelona Hoteles you will really get attracted and inspired to have your house built that way! If I have lots of money, I would probably build a house like one of those town houses.


This is not a townhouse, but a hotel. It looks like the Marco Polo Hotel of Davao City, eh? But it is one of the  most popular Ramblas Hotels found in Barcelona. Notice the design and color of the building, it looks nothing but glamorous and stylish! If you're planning to have a vacation in Barcelona, I think this there are lots of Barcelona Hotels like that where you can book yourself and your loved ones in.



I checked some pictures from the internet and saw this pool that is really one-of-a-kind! I have never seen something like this before, and I hope that someday I would find $$$time$$$ to visit some a place with such a huge, blue swimming pool. I am a swimming pool addict even though I am not the type who collects different swim wears like most of my friends. But really, I love swimming especially in swimming pools. I think they used wooden tiles instead of those ceramic or marble type of tiles which will make you slip when you're already wet. Notice in the left part of the picture there's a white area there---I think that is filled with white sand---it feels good to step in white sand and pebbles, right? Oohh.. these pictures really get me crazy! I want to have a vacation myself but I have nobody to go with.. well anyway, time will come when I will be $$$able$$$ to go wherever I want to go. $$$TIME$$$ will come.
